My Sweet Mother and Best Friend!
It’s exactly 10 years since you’ve been gone. But you remain EVER GREEN in my heart.
A great woman and hardworking woman you were indeed.
I got my entrepreneurial skills from you and You definitely influenced my fashion and Style.
I must say you’ve left a permanent vacuum in my heart which no one else can fill.
All my close friends at high school and university of Ibadan met you as you would visit me frequently.
I remember being called a big Baby by my roommates at the University of Ibadan because you would bring me soup and stew from Lagos most weekends.
I also remember vividly how you were all smiles and so happy on both my Matriculation and Graduation days.
I miss Our Chit Chat and Banters my Confidant.
I have so much to talk to you about, but I know you’ll be Proud of the Woman I’ve grown to become.
I wake up daily seeing your beautiful face and smile which keeps me going even when the chips are down.
I still have several of your pictures framed by my bedside and splashed at every corner of my home till date.
That’s how much I’m in love with you.
I’m still hurting till date and can still feel your warm arms wrapped around me firmly on the 27/07/09 while you bade me Farewell as I embarked on one of my frequent travels.
Little did I know that would be my last hug and physical contact with you. I MISS u so much MUM.
Sleep On my Beautiful Fashionista and Continue to Rest in Power.
